Bridge Mutual was founded in 2020 by Michael Miglio, it is a non-custodial risk management company that provides coverage for stablecoins and exchanges.
Bridge Mutual provides its users with a decentralized, scalable and comprehensive system of smart contracts to insure stablecoins, smart contracts, centralized exchanges, and other crypto and DeFi products.
The insurance platform offers transparent, auditable, on-chain investment strategies to return yields and profit-sharing to its users and does not require KYC or personally identifying information.
Bridge Mutual features a decentralized insurance-like interface that allows users to insure each other. Essentially, users can navigate the interface and seek out other users that offer the type of insurance that they are looking for at a price that they can afford. This cuts out the often tedious process of consumers speaking to multiple insurance brokers simultaneously in the hopes of finding one that they are compatible with. Additionally, any claims made are added to the central blockchain and the public is able to view and assess it. This also applies to the investment of funds by users. This fosters a sense of trust among users and ensures there is little or no fraud.
