What is Mintable?

Launched in 2018 by Zach Burks, Mintable is a next-generation non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace built on the Ethereum blockchain. It also provides support for Zilliqa. Mintable has pushed the NFT industry forward by being the first to design gasless minting, batch minting, and royalties, empowering artists and creators to monetize their work via NFTs.

The platform has minted around 700,00 items for sale, with most selling for between $10,000 and $50,000. Reports suggest that some exclusive NFTs have gone in the $500,000 range and as of now, Mintable’s biggest sale is $2 million.

Mintable is a platform built on top of Ethereum that allows users to create, sell, distribute, buy and trade digital items for cryptocurrencies. The platform stands out as an excellent entry platform into the NFT space. By cataloging all NFTs ever minted on Ethereum Mintable users will have access to the largest and most organized inventory of NFTs that are ERC-721 tokens in the metaverse, from NFTs created in the past on Ethereum as well as new NFTs once they are minted on-chain.

Furthermore, a unique feature “rarity meter” engineered by an algorithm that assesses NFTs for their rarity and uniqueness when such data is available. NFTs on Mintable are rated, uncommon, common, insanely rare, ultra-rare, rare and “holy grail” according to their attributes, allowing users to better ascertain the value of an NFT before they buy. Users now are also able to see an NFT’s transaction history and seller reviews.
